the first of many, no doubt

I just got onto Yahoo to check my email and checked the headlines. Creepy ol' Uncle Al put his foot in it again by tweeting that Simone's grandparents, who adopted her and her sister, "may be Mom and Dad, but they are NOT her parents." A lot of adoptive parents took issue with this. I can see why, because I have seen more genuine love in adoptive families than I have seen in many "biological" ones (and Simone and her sister have both), like my own, for instance. I recorded last night's coverage and have not yet had a chance to watch it all, but I am assuming that this is just the first of many inappropriate (to say the least) remarks that "Funny Uncle" Al will be making (maybe all that fanny-wiggling and shimmy-shake by underage girls doing FX is just too much for him). Maybe we'll get a half-a--ed apology from him, but I kind of doubt it. He may outdo himself this time!
