Winter Cup (US MAG) - February 16 & 18

I'm making a separate thread for this for anyone who cares to follow. Anyway, the road to Tokyo for the US men begins this Thursday in Las Vegas! Prelims are on Thursday with two sessions (all the major names are in the second session) and finals on Saturday. There will be a live stream on the USA Gymnastics YouTube channel and of course individual videos after the fact.

John Orozco and Alec Yoder mark their return to competition after season-ending injuries last year.

I've not seen any changes to the start list yet, but I can already say Matt Wenske won't be competing because he ruptured his meniscus in training a couple of weeks ago. I believe he's due to have surgery soon. He's probably going to miss the rest of NCAA season, but he could recover in time for nationals this summer.

Out of the current national team, I believe the only missing names are Danell Leyva, Brandon Wynn, Paul Ruggeri, and CJ Maestas. Leyva is essentially retired (not official) living in LA trying to get into acting. Ruggeri and Wynn left USOTC. Ruggeri moved to New Jersey, bought a house, and now trains and coaches at US Gymnastics Development Center. Wynn is back at Ohio State sort of training and promoting his fitness business with Jake Dalton. No idea what Maestas has been up to since trials.
