Simone and The Media

Is anyone else feeling some type of way about how Simone is being largely ignored in the media. She is probably the most dominant athlete her sport has ever seen(verging on GOAT status) the year before the Olympics, just became the most decorated female gymnast at Worlds (by Gold count), and had won Worlds three times in a row. And there like nothing. I remember Carly/Shawn/Jordyn being on stuff before the Olympics and Carly didn't even win. Is it because she's not a little baby teenager? I mean I see people like Ronda Rousey everywhere and thats another niche sport. Tennis players like Serena/Sharapova etc.
Is she being seen as too "similar" to Gabby? (even though they aren't similar at all, but we know the media") Are we on gymnastics burnout from winning so much? She has a great personality and a great story etc. What gives?
