I just thought I would start a thread about who is going to San Jose. Last time I got to meet a few people from this board and we had a great time! I'm just so excited that I can't contain myself at the moment! With P and G's over, it's time to look forward to the next two weeks!

Who is going to San Jose?

At this point on projected most likely WAG Olympic team which of the 5 sits out bars

I think this merits its own thread since assuming the team ends up as the current projected one by most of Biles, Raisman, Hernandez, Douglas, Kocian/Locklear (whichever one, it doesnt really make a difference on this topic) which one will sit out bars in prelims. I guess all 5 are possible although IMO Biles and Kocian/Locklear while not impossible to be sat from bars in prelims are least likely, and it will probably be one of Hernandez, Douglas, or Raisman. Raisman is the weakest bar worker clearly but she just came 2nd AA at Nationals and if she repeats at the Trials it will makes things even more complicated. If Nichols or heaven forbid Skinner make the team they are the automatic to sit bars I suspect, even though Nichols is better than Raisman on bars.

Non-gym Sports

While awaiting the US men's trials to start, I'm watching the US diving trials. Anyone else watching?

I'm from Indiana and it sounds like about 75% of the divers here are also from Indiana, so it's kind of cool.

But I figured we could start a thread devoted to other sports as the Olympics roll in. I'm probably an annoying "4 year fan" to most sports in the Olympics and would love to hear some insight if anyone follows other sports.

It's (finally)(already) here! I figured we should probably make a separate thread for the meet instead of publishing info in the American thread. We have a separate thread already for MAG's trials, but I included their schedule here as well.

Saturday, June 25
1:00 pm – Jr. Men’s Competition – Final Day
7:00 pm – Sr. Men’s U.S. Olympic Trials – Final Day

NBC
NBC will air the final three days of competition from St. Louis live. In addition, NBCSN will provide live television coverage of the first night of men’s competition. The schedule is listed below.

We learned today that Jazzy Foberg (MG Elite) has withdrawn from P&Gs due to a nagging ankle injury, but she plans on coming back to Elite next season.
